RECRUITMENT
HOW WE RECRUIT
Our recruitment model goes beyond filling vacancies. We consider the role, the workplace, the candidate’s practical capability and, where sponsorship is required, whether there is a genuine and compliant migration pathway.
Recruitment done well is a structured discipline, not a database search.
Every MYAC recruitment campaign follows a clear process covering candidate sourcing, screening, skills verification, role matching, interviews, offer management and ongoing support.
The same care applies on both sides of the process. Employers receive candidates who have been properly assessed, while candidates are only presented with opportunities that align with their skills, experience and circumstances.
Talent acquisition and screening
Before a candidate is presented to an employer, our team reviews their qualifications, employment history, references, documentation and overall suitability. For technical, trade and hands-on positions, this may also include practical skills assessments, technical interviews or direct competency verification. The objective is simple: employers should meet candidates who are genuinely capable of performing the role.
Matching to the role, not the job title
We take the time to understand the position, the team, the working environment, the required technical capability and what a successful long-term hire looks like for the employer. Candidates are then matched against those requirements, rather than selected through keyword searches or résumé comparisons alone.
Interview coordination
MYAC coordinates interviews face-to-face, virtually or through targeted international recruitment campaigns and roadshows. Where required, we can assist with interview scheduling, candidate preparation, technical assessments and practical trials to give employers greater confidence in their final selection.
Offer management
Once a preferred candidate is selected, MYAC supports the offer process and helps ensure the proposed terms are commercially competitive and appropriate for the position. Where employer sponsorship is involved, we also consider relevant salary requirements and migration criteria before the matter progresses.
OUR CANDIDATE NETWORK
MYAC maintains a pre-screened database of more than 10,000 candidates spanning trades, hospitality, healthcare, engineering and other skilled occupations. “Pre screened” is doing real work in that sentence: every candidate has already been assessed for genuine skill level, relevant experience and, where relevant, practical competency.

One Organisation, One Coordinated Process.
MYAC brings recruitment, employer sponsorship and migration capability together under one organisation.
For employers, this means a more coordinated way to address genuine workforce shortages and secure skilled people.
A successful placement is not simply someone starting work. It is the right person remaining in the role and contributing to the organisation over the long term.
For candidates, it means access to legitimate employment opportunities supported by clear recruitment and migration guidance.
The result is a stronger process, better-informed decisions and workforce outcomes designed to last.
Visa Sponsorship Managed In-House
This is where MYAC differs from a traditional recruitment agency.
Where an employer intends to sponsor a candidate, our in-house OMARA-registered migration professionals can assess the proposed pathway and manage the relevant sponsorship, nomination and visa applications.
Recruitment and migration teams work together from the beginning, helping to identify potential eligibility issues before an employer commits significant time and resources to a candidate.
Integration and Ongoing Support
A placement or visa grant is not the end of the process.
MYAC can support candidates as they prepare to enter the workplace, relocate and adjust to employment in Australia.
We also maintain contact with employers and employees after commencement to identify concerns early, support workplace integration and encourage stronger long-term retention.
