For employers, finding the right skilled worker is only part of the process. The role, candidate and visa pathway must also align for an employer-sponsored placement to succeed.

For skilled workers, a job offer does not always mean the position will provide a suitable Australian work visa or migration pathway.

When recruitment and migration are handled separately, eligibility, sponsorship and compliance issues may be identified too late—leading to delays, unnecessary costs or failed placements.

MYAC brings recruitment, employer sponsorship and migration services together under one organisation. Our recruitment consultants and OMARA Registered Migration Agents work collaboratively from the beginning, considering the employer’s workforce needs, the position, the candidate’s experience and the potential visa pathway as one connected process.

How MYAC Works — One Integrated Process

Workforce Requirements Assessment

We begin by understanding the employer’s workforce needs in detail, including the position, required skills and experience, team structure, operational environment and the qualities needed for the candidate to succeed. Where employer sponsorship may be required, migration considerations are assessed early so the recruitment strategy is aligned with a realistic visa pathway.

Candidate Sourcing and Screening

Candidates are sourced through MYAC’s local and international networks, including our database of more than 10,000 pre-screened candidates. Each candidate is assessed against the specific requirements of the position, including their qualifications, employment history, technical skills, practical capability, communication skills and overall suitability for the employer.

Matching, Interviews and Selection

We prepare targeted shortlists based on the employer’s actual requirements rather than simply forwarding available candidates. Inter Interviews may be conducted face-to-face, virtually or through MYAC’s international recruitment roadshows. Practical trials, trade testing and additional verification can also be arranged where appropriate.

Sponsorship and Migration

Where sponsorship is required, MYAC’s in-house OMARA-registered migration professionals assess the proposed position, employer and candidate against the relevant migration requirements. Our team can manage the applicable sponsorship, nomination and visa processes while keeping recruitment and migration activity closely coordinated.

Onboarding, Settlement and Retention

Our involvement continues beyond the offer and visa process. MYAC supports onboarding, relocation preparation and orientation to Australian workplace expectations. We also maintain ongoing contact with both the employer and candidate to help address issues early, support a successful transition and improve long-term retention.
